Credit Cards Accepted (once again)

Hello all.......for awhile I have not been accepting credit cards at the Markets, just cash & local checks. I am happy to let you all know I am once again able to accept credit/debit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover & American Express).

There will be a $10 minimum purchase required (hey, it costs me $ to run them)

Thanks to all who came down this weekend, it sure was a bit chilly out! It looks like gorgeous weather for the upcoming weekend.

Hope to see you there!

I Came, I Saw.....

I went home!

It was pouring rain this Saturday for the market. I got up, drove to the market and decided not to attempt it. It was just pouring & SOOO windy. Instead I went to breakfast with my mom and then headed to Jo-Ann's. I had a lovely morning.

I will be there this coming Saturday though. Forecast is high of 83 & sunny.......

See you then!

Old World Wisconsin

Here is a family photo from Old World Wisconsin....

My husband & children had never been there before. It is a very neat place that is just like things were back in the day......they have some old homes and businesses they have moved there from some of Wisconsin's first settlers and they have people working there just like they would've 100+ years ago. You see the people out plowing the fields, churning butter, doing laundry thru the ringers and such. And they tell you all about what they are doing and the people who's homes are there.

They have different areas set up - they have a German, Polish, Danish, Finnish, African American and a settlers village and woods with a little pond to walk thru.

It's a nice way to spend the day.
