Is an Aqua Globe the answer?

So, from my previous posts you know that my hindu/hoya rope plant has bloomed several times in the last few months...well it's growing flower buds again! I can't even believe it.

The only thing I've done differently over the last year is I put in an aqua globe for watering.....

I think I will be getting more for my other house plants (PS - I do NOT have a green thumb!)

Earth Day

Well, Happy Earth Day to you!

My Earth Day started off pretty darn early......I went to bed at a decent time, I was sleeping soundly when I heard noises coming from the play room.

I soon realized it was our cats. They sounded like they were playing together (which is ODD to say the least). And they weren't stopping. They were jumping on the girls play kitchen (I heard the dishes fall) they were running around like crazy. So I got up to investigate.

I found them both sitting by a toy bin.....stalking their prey......a little brown mouse.

I got the cats out of the room & caught the mouse myself & took it out in the backyard.

I would've taken a picture to show you - but come on it was 3 something in the morning.....

Audrey's First Scissors

The Easter Bunny brought Audrey her first pair of real scissors for Easter.......she used them very well. She figured out how to get them to work right away. She is practicing on the newspaper in this picture. After she practiced her & my mom made bean-bags for a game....

PS- Mom - I found beans all over the floor under the sewing machine :)

At least the lasagna was good!!

Here is a picture of my hand from making lasagna the other night.....as you may have guessed I bumped the oven rack while pulling the pan out - ouch!

To the local museum

We took the girls to our little museum this weekend - I honestly had not been there yet (I've only lived in Oshkosh for 12 years now!)

We made a special stop at the candy store on the way.....

Thinkin Green (from Family Fun Magazine)

I receive the magazine Family Fun (a gift from my mom - thanks!) And in the spring edition they have a few ways to "go green"....one I really likes was using a cloth (reusable shopping bag) as a gift bag/wrap.....then the gift-getter has a bag to use when shoppping......
