Handmade for the Holiday - tomorrow

Thank you to all who came down to the craft night - it was an awesome turnout! Can't wait until next month!

Tomorrow is the big show for Oshkosh - Handmade for the Holidays will be from 10-4 at Becket's. The first 50 shoppers will get amazing goodie bags! There will be over 50 vendors and you can get your picture taken with Santa too!

A lovely day for a show!

It was a blustery weekend! Good thing we were at a lovely indoor show at the Butte des Mortes Country Club. It was hosted by the lovely Sandra Began...here is a photo of the set-up for this year.

Although this post is short, I have to go.....there is a group of kids over all playing dress up & I think it's about to get CRAZY!!! There are fairies, princesses and a dragon and Harry Potter.

Great Show - this weekend!!!

I will be at the Sandra Began Holiday Preview Event this weekend! Mom will be at the shop & we will have our regular hours both days....

We are also selling tickets for the event - they are only $10 in advance and 100% off the ticket sales is going to Bundle Up Kids/Miracle League Charity!

What's Cookin'.....

Wow - I can't believe it's December already! YIKES!! Luckily we do have our tree up & the house is decorated. Most of our shopping is all done we just have 1 more gift to buy & a few to create. No sweat.......but......I have a show this coming weekend! I feel really unprepared for it - but I can only do so much.

I have had fun making some soy candles that I will have at the show. There are 4 yummy flavors - Candy Cane Lane, Home for the Holidays, Crisp Cotton and Magnolia Blossom. They make great teacher or hostess gifts too. That is if you can part with them yourself.

My mom came over & made cookies with the girls tonight too. Little kids & sprinkles. You can imagine what the floor looks like.

So if you are in the Madison areas this Saturday head on over to the East Side Club on Monona Drive. There will be 50 goodie bags going out to the first customers & I have a nice coupon in there too.

All of my presents are bought, my cards are all filled out & mailed......and my packages are mailed too....

The only thing left for me this holiday season to do is finish up a few gifties & some major wrapping.

The Show

So I was at the Holiday MarketPlace today. While I was very prepared & had a cute little spot (the pictures don't do it justice....at all) I'd have to say sales were down a bit from last year. But with the Craftacular just a few days away I was okay with it - I will have less to do to get ready for it :) I came home with more ching than I went with so I can't complain.

I was really happy with the display. I had a pretty sheer-white festive cloth over my usual pink table cloth, I also have cute holiday signs. I used my usual headband rack to hold scarves and I had all sorts of pretty new ribbon chains for the pendants and I had bracelets perched in the branches of a pretty pink tree & surrounding it like a tree skirt.

I will have to make onesies this week. And another display for them. With having girl & boy shirts one display doesn't seem like enough...

Well I need to get off the computer now have a good night

Holiday MarketPlace

I have a show this Saturday....

It is the Holiday MarketPlace Art & Craft Show located at the Washington County Fair Park
3000 Hwy PV in West Bend.

It is a great show. I was at it last year & it has well over 100 vendors (I believe 150). They have a great variety of holiday decor & gifts. The show runs from 9-4.

I will have my boy onesies, cute new girlie onesies, new scarfs, headbands & my hand stamped jewelry. I also have a cute wispy pink Christmas tree I will be using in my holiday display (I borrowed it from my mom!)

The Week in Review

So it was a busy yet somehow uneventful week. I got most of my holiday shopping all done yesterday - IT FEELS GOOD!!! Just a couple more things to get & I know what I need so it will be nice & easy. But I do still have my holiday crafting to do. My mom will say I'm a procrastinator, but I say I work better under pressure! I know what I want to make & will get it done after my 2 upcoming shows.

Speaking of the shows I have 2 big ones in November. The Holiday MarketPlace in West Bend is next weekend already. I have been stamping away & have a ton of jewelry stamped. I still need to polish it & I have a boat load of sewing to do next week. No sweat.......

On a happy-happy note Bath & Body Works carried a scent called "Sandalwood Rose" in their aromatherapy line. It was my absolute favorite so of course they discontinued it. I found it last night (after over a year of looking) at the B & BW Outlet. I was in heaven! I bought a bottle of the shower gel & lotion. I was thinking I should have bought 5 bottles of each, but I was out holiday shopping......not for myself.

Well I am off to work my half day today & am going home and will be trying a new project (because I have SO much extra time for new projects!) If all goes well there will be a rockin' new girl onesie at the show next week.

Show Recap

Well, it was a successful Holiday Shopping Preview. Sandra & the gang really had it well planned out. There were ladies lined up outside at 3pm (doors opened at 4).

I sold a fair amount of goodies & have a local salon & clothing store interested in carrying my goods! I will update you as things progress there!

I have half a day of work tomorrow so I want to go to Aurora and check my stock. This will be the first time checking the inventory there, so I have no idea what to expect!
